Obituary of Alba FOTINO

May 19, 1935 – August 7, 2011 Alba Fotino beloved wife of Paolo of Calgary, passed away on August 7, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Alba was born in San Giovanni d’Albi Catanzaro, Italy. She immigrated to Canada December 1953 and has lived in Calgary since immigrating to Canada. Besides her loving husband Paolo, Alba is also survived by her son Dominic Fotino. She is also survived by her sisters Rosa Parrotta of Italy, Camela Vero of Italy, Vanda Davoli of Calgary and brother Angelo Vero of Italy; her grandchildren Emma Fotino and Anthony Fotino both of Parksville, B.C. Alba is predeceased by her brothers Salvatore Vero and Pasquale Vero. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
