Obituary of Sadie Irma HAYES

October 13, 1919 – August 7, 2011 Sadie Hayes, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB. Sadie was born and raised near Rocky Mountain House. She moved to Calgary as a young woman, where she met and married the love of her life Bob, and raised their five children. Her family always came first, and we cherish this strong sense of family that she proudly displayed. We will miss her dearly. Sadie will be lovingly remembered by her children Kathy Hayes, Connie (James) Martin, Carol (Anthony) Pelc, Robert (Carol) Hayes, Alison (Keith) Lee and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadie was predeceased by her devoted husband Bob. Funeral Services will be held at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens (17 Avenue S.W. and Lower Springbank Road).
