Condolences
My deepest condolences to the Bennett family. My thoughts are with you, as I say a prayer today. My grandmother Yvette McDonald lost her very best friend and Doreen was close with the entire family.
She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
I am so sorry for your loss. Doreen was like a second mother to me, while I was growing up. Although it’s been many years since I’ve been in contact, whenever I think of her, I remember her strength, humor and graciousness. I also remember her bacon. I was always amazed that she cooked a whole pound (or two) and that I could have as much as I wanted (at my house, we were allowed only two slices each). Breakfast aside, Doreen was always a safe haven when I was young, and whether she knew it or not, she had a quiet influence on my life. I am so lucky to have known her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Bennett family during this sad time. Our family remembers Doreen with fond memories and the wonderful and caring person that she was.
