Obituary of RIEGER – Dorothy

April 21, 1928 – August 1, 2011 Dorothy passed away on the evening of Monday August 1, 2011, at the Southwood Hospice at the age of 83 years. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her children Billy (Cheryle) Rieger and Linda (Terry) Farr; grandchildren Darek (Jen) Rieger, Vaughan (Lindsay) Rieger, Shanna (Norm) Kruesel, Craig (Jen) Farr, Jeffrey Farr and Lisa Seebulack, eight great-grandchildren and her sister Eileen Lees. She was predeceased by her husband Gene Silverhorn in 2003, her son Mike in 2009, her sister Beverly in 2008, her brother Ralph in 1964 and her parents Mabel and Victor Johnson in 1980. She enjoyed painting with water colors, was an avid reader, loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time with family. “Help us today to be thinking not of the darkness of death, but of the splendour of the life everlasting, forever in your presence and forever with you” At mom’s request there will be no service.
