Obituary of OLSON – Frances

October 29, 1934 – July 25, 2011 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Frances Olson of Calgary on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Fran was born in Torquay, SK and spent most of her youth in Yellow Grass and Lang until marrying her high school sweetheart Edwin in 1955. They lived in Regina before being transferred to Calgary in 1966. Grandma enjoyed large family gatherings during special occasions whether it was at home in Calgary or at the cabin at Gull Lake. She is survived by her husband Edwin, brother Dave Kozak, sister Betty Buckingham, daughters Linda (Norm) Richards, Donna Coutu and son Tim (Brenda). She is also survived by her grandchildren Thomas Coutu, Andrew Richards, Jason Richards, Nicholas Richards, Aaron Olson and Kiera Olson. She was predeceased by her parents Katherine and John Kozak, brothers Tony and Alex. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
