Condolences
To the DeCrom Family: I am very sorry about your Mom’s passing. I remember going to your house just off of Glenmore Trail. I would go with my Dad and play in the yard with whoever was home, while my Dad visited. My parents would have come to your Mom’s funeral, but they did not hear about it until afterwards. The Vlooswyk Family offers their condolences. Sincerely, Sylvia
Dear de Crom children and Grandchildren,
We just received the news about the passing of your mother and oma at our place in BC. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time. We will remember your mom as the straightforward Dutch woman she was residing in Canada putting a stamp on so many people, being kids, grandkids, foster children and friends.
Sorry, we won’t be able to make it back to Calgary in time for the funeral tomorrow. All the best in these difficult days.
Hans and Ellen
Betty, you mentioned your mom quite often about the foster children that she took in and how much love she had for everyone. The world and your family will be short that person now. My thoughts are with you.
Great memories from Rocky View Ladies, including our wonderful backyard barbeques in June of a year.

Dear Decrom Family,
We have such good memories of your family and ours working and playing together at the farm near Calgary. Your Mother and Father always had room for one more family for a visit and little one that needed a home and a big family to belong to. Our thoughts are with all of you today when you gather to honour your Mother and hope you will be in touch.

Dear Betty, Theo, and Family,
Thinking of you as you say good-bye to your Mom. Reading her obituary, I thought what a remarkably powerful and active life she had, and how many peoples’ lives she touched…. her strength, warmth and humour will be her legacy to you forever, living on in the hearts and the lives of her wonderful children, and their sons and daughters in turn. I hope you celebrate her life with pride and love, and not sorrow.
Love , Catherine Barroll

Dear Betty and Theo and all of your family:
I am keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers and sending you love and strength.
These are indeed hard times.
