Obituary of EYMA – Marie Noel

Decemeber 14, 1914 – July 14, 2011 Marie Eyma of Cochrane Alberta passed away suddenly but peacefully on Thursday July 14, 2011 at the Bethany Care Centre at the age of 96 years. She was born December 14, 1914 in Calgary Alberta the oldest daughter of 7 children to Francis & Gus Delbeke. In 1935 she married Pierre Eyma and together they ranched all of their lives west of Cochrane in the Beaupre area on the Chinook Ranch while raising their three children. Marie is survived by her son Jay Eyma; Daughter Anita (Newt) Kessler; brother Leon (Vivian) Delbeke; and sister-in-law Sybil Delbeke; eleven grandchildren Jayena (Wayde) Collins, Jayme (Lori) Eyma, Jaynel (Danny) Fenton, Jaylene Knight, Benji, Chache and Bobby Eyma, Ann (Duane) McFadden, Bill (Nicole) Kessler, Geordie (Ingrid) Kessler, Jane (Blake) Hammond. As well as twenty four great-grandchildren, two fifth generation grandchildren, one niece and three nephews. Marie was predeceased in 1989 by her husband of 54 years Pierre Eyma, son Clay Eyma, daughter-in-law Lynne Eyma, sisters Evelyn Noble, Maggie Stringer and Catherine Molnar, brothers Jim and Casey Delbeke.
