Obituary of Harold TANG

November 6, 1939 – July 14, 2011 A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin. Until the day comes we’re together again” –Author unknown It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, Harold Tang on July 14, 2011 at the age of 71 years after a lengthy struggle with various health issues. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Audrey; daughters Vicki and Dede; son, Rick, and four grandchildren, Joshua, Jocelyn, Megan and Erin; brother Eugene Tang of Vancouver, BC, sister Mei Mei Shum of Vancouver, Washington, Brother Paul Tang of California and numerous nieces and nephews. Harold led a full and happy life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards with his friends. He was always using his vast building knowledge to fix anything and everything around the house and loved nothing more than spending time with his family and never strayed too far from home. Harold retired from Beaver Lumber after being in the lumber/hardware business for 35 years, during which time he accumulated many friends. Harold was known for his great smile and quirky sense of humour. We would like to thank the various doctors, nurses and staff at the Foothills Medical Centre for all the care, respect and comfort they gave Harold and the family.
