Obituary of BRUBAKER – Herbert Allen

July 20, 1936 – July 12, 2011 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, Herb Brubaker, on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, after a lengthy struggle with various health problems at the age of 74 years. Over the last forty years, Herb and Joan have fostered many children and he enjoyed being “Dad” to these young people. In 1987, Herb retired from Shell Canada Ltd. after twenty seven years of service. Herb is survived by his wife of fifty years, Joan, son Doug, daughter Cheryl, two “special” sons Sterling and Devin, four grandchildren Jennifer (Steve), Sasha, Aaron and Cheyenne, sister-in-law Florence. He was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Florence and a brother Harvey. At Herb’s request, there will not be a funeral service.
