Obituary of DELANEY – Ann Christina
July 23, 1961 – July 11, 2011
On Monday, July 11, 2011 (just 12 days short of her 50th birthday), our Annie departed following a lengthy and complex battle with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension.
She leaves to mourn; her beloved husband Stan, darling puppy Puddin’, her precious nieces Jasmine, Brittany and Rachel, her sister Mary and her like-sisters Kathy, Debbie and Donna. She will now be reunited with her loving mother Jean and adored father Ed.
Annie was born and raised in Calgary and attended Ernest Manning High School. There was no doubt Annie loved life, and lived it to its fullest. In the past few years her greatest love has been for her camp in Sundre, AB where she enjoyed many wonderful times with family and friends. Annie had a special interest in people. Those who knew her enjoyed her contagious laughter, her penchant for practical jokes and her need to make everyone around her smile.
Those who know Annie will remember her as the brightest star in the heavens. Annie’s wish would be that when you see a falling star you will remember her.
Family and friends alike are welcome to pay their respects at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
