Obituary of CORRADETTI – Yola

December 13, 1924 – July 1, 2011 Yola Corradetti of Calgary passed away at the Bethany Harvest Hills Care Centre on Friday, July 1, 2011. Yola was born December 13, 1924 in Antrodoco, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1948. She was predeceased by her husband of forty-six years, Pasquale, in 1998. Much loved and forever remembered by her sons, Bruno (Melissa) Corradetti of Powell River and Rico Corradetti of Calgary; daughters, Angela (Ottavio) Priolo of Chestermere and Lita (Fred) Sweere of Strathmore. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Dean (Britt), Amanda, Justin, Oriana, Matthew (Tracy), Cody, and Jordan; and three great grandchildren. Yola is also survived by her sister Gina Serani and brother Quinto (Maria) Cardellini, both of Calgary. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
