Obituary of PARKS – Audrey Etta

March 30, 1929 – June 28, 2011 Audrey Etta Parks passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Audrey loved her family beyond measure and was delighted in everything they did. She showed tremendous strength in her final decisions regarding her sudden illness which allowed her time for a special goodbye with each and everyone of her family. Audrey is survived by daughter Patricia (John) Macleod, son Larry Parks, grandsons, Daniel Macleod (Kelty McColl) and Michael Parks, granddaughters, Melanie Macleod (Stuart Roberts) and Jamie (Marcus) Teske, and great-granddaughter Kaylee Teske. She is also survived by her sister Loretta Sanderson, her brother Hugh (Verna) Bolton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her God children Steven Sanderson and Kim Lamb. Audrey was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-two years, Lloyd, and her brother Ray Bolton. She will be remembered for her dedication in caring for Lloyd during his extended time in the nursing home. At Audrey’s request a private family gathering will be held.
