Dear Colin & Shaun

I have thought of you all so many times over the years, and it is with great saddness I just found this notice of your mom’s passing. It is coming up on a year now and I’m sure it has been most difficult one. Your Mom and Dad were truely special to me, and I have so many wonderful memories of growing up with your family. Your Mom spoiled me – made me feel like one of her own growing up. I am sorry we lost touch. May your Mom rest in peace with your Dad and brothers – My Mom recently has left us also – so hopefully they are up there reminiscing about good times or are playing the butterfly marbles game : )

I have great memories of those Sunday dinners with your Mom and Dad. My heart goes out to you both at this very difficult time in your lives. She was a wonderful person always willing to help others. This world was made a better place during the time she spent here. I will always remember and miss her.

I just heard about your mom passing and wanted to send my sympathies. It’s been a while since I had seen her but she was one of those people who made an impact on you when you met her. She was a kind and gentle person who loved and was loved dearly by her family. I hope you both carry on with the memory of the wonderful person your mother was.

My deepest condolences to all of Mieko’s family. She was clearly deeply loved and wonderfully cared for. May you take comfort in many fond memories and the knowledge that her suffering has concluded.
