Obituary of COMSTOCK – Daryl Norton

December 13, 1948 – June 23, 2011 Nort Comstock of Calgary, passed away on June 23, 2011 at the age of 62 years. Nort was born in Moose Jaw, SK and moved to Calgary at the age of 18. Nort had many jobs throughout his career and excelled at them all. He held a great passion for cars and model car collecting. Nort was an excellent baseball player in his younger years. He was also an air cadet and had a love for airplanes, eventually becoming an aircraft mechanic. He was very mechanically inclined and he had a very outgoing personality. Nort would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed a hand. He had a great sense of humour and infectious laugh. He was a real charmer and a true gentleman. Above all else, Nort cherished the time spent with his family. To know Nort was to love him. Nort is survived by his niece Tracey Isenor and her daughters Desiree Grace and Kaia Brooke; nephew Jeffrey Isenor (Andrea)and their son Jared Eldon and friends Warren and Donna Bell, Jake and Pauline Appelhof, Gary and Lee Penner, Dorothy Gorko, as well as numerous other friends. Nort was predeceased by his parents Eldon and Inga Comstock and sister Grace Comstock.
