Obituary of SCHNELL – George

September 16, 1943 – June 23, 2011 George Schnell, beloved husband of 42 years to Sharon Schnell passed away suddenly on June 23, 2011 at the age of 67 years. George was born into a large family in Estevan, SK. He joined six brothers and four sisters and was raised with much love and fun. George moved to Calgary in 1966 and was employed in waste management. He met Sharon in February 1967 and they married in September 1967. They had two children, Bradley (Alissa) and Kathryn. He became a self-made man and enjoyed many successful business adventures, his latest being a glass printing company with his best friend Steve Storochuk (Diane). George loved to golf, bet the horses and spend time with his family and friends. He looked forward to spending the winters in Palm Springs with his beloved wife, family and friends. He is survived by his loving son and daughter, Brad and Kathy, adored granddaughter Sadie, best bud Charlie the dog, six brothers and four sisters. He was predeceased by his father Nasie Schnell Sr, and his mother Rose Schnell. He was the best husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend, a true diamond in the rough and we will miss him so much.
