Obituary of SIMEON – Jesse James William

July 27, 1990 – June 18, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jesse James Simeon. He was born in Calgary on July 27, 1990 and passed away suddenly in Lethbridge on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Jesse lived in Lethbridge and had attended elementary school in Brocket, St. Francis and Allan Watson High School in Lethbridge and Picture Butte High School. Jesse had a great personality and a great sense of humor. He was outgoing, open minded and kind hearted, and always put others before himself. He enjoyed taking care of his grandmother, hanging out with his friends, cooking, watching UFC, and watching movies and was very protective of his brothers. Jesse was baptised Easter Sunday in 1991. Jesse’s favourite music included Tech N9ne, Three 6 Mafia, Crooked Eye, Eminem, lil Wayne and AC/DC. Jesse is survived by and will forever be lovingly remembered by his siblings, James Dean, Dustin Lee Chase and Logan Storm; his father Virgil (Kim) Simeon and his mother Penny Many Guns. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Joseph (Laura) Simeon and Lillian (Doug) Simeon; paternal aunts and uncles, Audra (Keevin) and family, Jason and family, Trisha (Garett) and family, Caylem (Jessie) and family, Jamie and Dori; maternal grandmother Evelyn Many Guns; maternal aunts and uncles, his special cousin Natasha Simeon; and all his bro’s from Tsuu T’ina Nation and the Lethbridge area as well as numerous close cousins, relatives and friends from the Tsuu T’ina, Siksika, Piikuni, Kainai and Nakoda First Nations. He was predeceased by his paternal great great-grandparents Chief Joseph and Mary Big Plume; great-grandparents Jim and Isabel Simeon; maternal grandfather William Eagle Plume, cousin Wacey Simeon-Crowchief. Wake Services will be held at Lethbridge Medicine Tree Centre (1709 – 2nd Ave S, Lethbridge, AB) on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the Sarcee Seven Chiefs Sportplex (Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB) on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Sarcee Seven Chiefs Sportsplex (Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB) on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Services to follow at Tsuu T’ina Nation Cemetery.
