Obituary of BATCHILDER – Walter Vincent

December 28, 1915 – June 17, 2011 Walter Batchilder of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the age of 95 years. Walter was born in Georgetown, PEI. He was honoured to have fought for our freedom during WWII, with countless other brave men, and march forward in the name of Canada. Walter was predeceased by his parents, John and Philomena (nee Gallant) and all of his 14 brothers and sisters: sisters Mary Jay, Josephine Gotell, Ada MacNeill, Agnes MacDonald, Catherine Power, Jane, and Baby Mary; brothers Lawrence, Stanley, Bernard, Ferdinand, Leonard, Thomas, and Stephen. Walter is survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
