Obituary of WALKEY – Sandra

November 26, 1951 – June 17, 2011 “Sandy” Walkey beloved wife of George “Beaver” Walkey of Chestermere, passed away on June 17, 2011 at the age of 59 years. As a child Sandy enjoyed spending time at her grandparents farm in Lethbridge and as an adult enjoyed travelling, but mostly spending time with family and her dogs. She wasn’t an avid sports fan but when her Stampeders or Flames were playing she loved to cheer them on. She enjoyed being in the kitchen and trying new things and cooking for anyone who would eat. She will be missed immensely. Besides her loving husband Sandy is survived by her step children, Matthew Walkey and Meagan (Chris) Keam and her dog Buddy. She is also survived by her father, Douglas (Margaret) Adams, her sister, Linda Kelly and her brothers Gary (Tamara) Bianchini and Allan (Nancy) Bianchini as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Shirley Anne Bianchini, her step father, Gino Bianchini and her brother, Jim Adams.
