Obituary of RIDER – Daryl Jordan Lee

August 27, 1976 – June 16, 2011 Daryl Rider was called home by our Creator on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at the age of 34 years. Daryl was a loving and devoted father to his daughters and grandson and was always there for them. He was close to and loved all his cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Daryl was a kind and gentle man who always had a helping hand. He loved to golf, hunt, fish and watch hockey. Daryl worked at the Morley Trading Post and Chief Chiniki Restaurant. Daryl is survived by his daughters, Leandra (Tim) and Lyndsey; grandson Karl; his mother Gloria; adopted mother Celina; mother-in-law, Mary Jane; grandparents, Wally and Frances; siblings, Daralyn (Rick) and Brett (Beverly); aunts and uncles, Roderick (Eldra), Delphine (Harvey), Louise, Valerie and Annie as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. We apologize if we have missed anyone. He was predeceased by his father Darrold; his brother Leander; grandparents, Rita Rider and John Labelle; uncles, Frederick, Byron, Darrel, Jerry, Generich Ronnie and Christopher; aunts, Lorraine, Teresa and Lynette. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Mary Jane Twoyoungmen (Morley, AB) on Monday, June 20, 2011 and Tuesday June 21, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).
