Obituary of CRIST – Phyllis

November 21, 1920 – June 14, 2011 Phyllis Crist, beloved wife of Myron Crist of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Phyllis was a long time member of the Calgary Winter Club and North Hill Curling Club. She loved curling and was a three time Alberta Champion. She also enjoyed travelling, bridge, music, dancing, oil and china painting, car rides, and especially her family. Phyllis was a proud member of the Eastern Star. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-seven years, Myron; her children, Sharon Moore and Bill (Marg) Crist; her grandchildren, David (Kim, Cydnie, Ryanne, Nora) Moore, Ann-Marie (Dan, Chase, Parker) Giasson and Matthew Crist. She is survived by her brother Bob (Beverly) Kennedy; brother-in-law George Waite and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Fila Jane Francis and brother-in-law Edwin Francis, and sister-in-law Margaret Waite. Funeral Services will be held at Wild Rose United Church (1317 – 1st Street N.W.) on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
