Obituary of FERRIE – Winnifred Marie

September 1, 1913– June 14, 2011 Winnifred Ferrie of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the age of 97 years. Win was born in Montreal on September 1, 1913. She was married to Frederick Ernest Ferrie who passed away in January, 1981. Win spent twenty years at the St. Lambert Protestant School Board as Secretary-Treasurer and South Shore Regional School Board as Manager of Accounting. She moved from the St. Lambert, QC to Calgary in 1997. She became a member of the St. Peter’s Anglican Church and the Calgary Newcomer’s club where she enjoyed playing bridge at both organizations. Her last bridge game was in December, 2010. She is survived by three children, Barbara (John) Feick, Eric Ferrie and Lynn Buskard; grandsons Brian (Hejdi) Feick, David (Vivienne) Feick and Steven (Katie) Feick; granddaughters Lauren (Andrew) Carnell, Cristin Buskard and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Allan (Connie) Bridgeman, Norman (Vera) Bridgeman, Eric Bridgeman and sister Marjorie Evans.
