Obituary of HRUSKA – Stefanija Stephanie

December 18, 1937 – June 12, 2011 Stephanie Hruska of Calgary passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the age of 73 years. Stephanie was born on December 18, 1937 in Desinic, Zagorje, Croatia and immigrated to Canada in 1963. Stephanie was a proud member of Our Lady of Marija Bistrica Croatian Catholic Church, the Croatian Heritage Society, the Croatian Cultural Centre, the Glencoe Club and the Rehabilitation Society of Calgary for the Handicapped. Stephanie loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her legacy is the lasting friendships she made and the lives she touched wherever she went. Stephanie is survived by her loving husband Frano Herceg, son and daughter-in-law Steve and Erin and their children Torey and Kaden, daughter and son-in-law Joanne and John, brother and sister-in-law Vlado and Ruzica Antolic, sister Slavica Antolic and their families, and nephews John and Boris Antolic. Stephanie was predeceased by her first husband Josip Hruska and her brother Joe Antolic.
