Obituary of COOMBES – Edward James

January 28, 1935 – June 11, 2011 It is with regret we announce the passing of Edward Coombes at the age of 76 after a long and valiant fight with C.O.P.D. Ed was a man that everyone knew would take the shirt off his back to help anyone that asked. He loved a good party with plenty of friends and family, a gentleman that could get anyone talking and a patient man looking for hours thru his coins for lost treasure. He has taught us all to enjoy each day, take pride in who we are and be true to ourselves. Ed is survived by his wife Dorothy, his step children Karen(Ron) Tocher, Keitha (Kevin) Stuckert and Chris (Nicole) Dobson, his granddaughters Kessa and Kayla Stuckert, his sisters Jackie (Wes) and Alice, his many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Ed was predeceased by his parents James and Lena and his brothers Don, Roy and his sister Pat. A celebration of Edward’s life is to take place at a later date.
