Obituary of ROHL – Florence

May 21, 1917 – June 10, 2011 Our dearest, devoted Mom, Florence Rohl of Calgary, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at the age of 94 years. Florence was born in Calgary and grew up on the farm northwest of Beiseker. She married Victor and they moved to Calgary before moving to their farm at Dalroy, in 1949. They later returned to Calgary to reside and spent many winters in Hawaii. Following Victor’s death, Florence became a resident of Harbours of Newport Lodge. Florence is survived by her four children; Delphine Westergard, Manfred, Ivan and Jerry (Linda); four grandchildren Sandra, Mike (Glenna), Brian (Monica) and Lesley (Sam); twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grandson; her sister Mildred Volb; two sisters-in-law Olga Poffenroth and Rose Rohl as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Florence was predeceased by her husband Victor on June 8, 1992, son-in-law Orla Westergard and two grandchildren Lorraine and Larry as well as other family members.
