Obituary of WILLIAMS – Stuart

September 11 1944 – June 7 2011 It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Stuart MacDonald Williams, on June 7, 2011 at the Peter Loughheed Hospital, after a long battle with asbestosis. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Velma Williams; sons, Kelly (Brenda) and Shannon (Lori); grandchildren, Nichole, Daylin, Landon Williams, Breann Lacroix; and his brothers, Scott (Luci) and Fred (Gert); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Stuart was born in Yorton, SK. He started his career in the oil field and later changed to Housing Construction in Calgary, AB. He loved fishing, camping boating, quading and sight seeing. The light of Stuart’s life was his grandchildren, no matter what happened or how he felt they always put a smile on his face. Stuart through the years made many friends, he always had time to visit and tell stories. All his close friends and family knew him as Mackie. Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway’s Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 2:30 pm.
