Obituary of SHAKOV – Ludmila Lucy

January 28, 1936 – June 7, 2011 Mrs. Ludmila Shakov passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the age of 75 years. A true fighter, she courageously battled with cancer for many years. Ludmila was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend who thoroughly enjoyed all of life’s blessings. She was a professional geologist with a distinguished career in Russia and Canada. Ludmila had a life-long passion for nature, art, literature and travelling. She will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends. A private funeral service will take place in Calgary.
