Condolences
On behalf of Westwood Hockey, I would like to offer condolences to Corinne, Hal and Alex. As the news of Evan passing got out, I received lots of messages from current members of Westwood Hockey that one of our hockey family had died. By all accounts, we have lost a beautiful young man and we are all saddened deeply.
Evan has touched many lives and your family is in many people’s thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. God bless.

I am so sorry. I also have a child with epilepsy and this saddens me. It is a fight no child should face. You are all in my prayers. Sending love all the way from Georgia.
I was very sad to learn of Evan’s passing. I knew him from the BHA where he demonstrated lots of passion for his friends and for hockey. He will be dearly missed, please accept my deepest condolences.
Hal and family,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Evan’s death. You spoke so highly of him and were so proud of him. Your face always lit up whenever you talked about him. My heart goes out to your and your family and my prayers and thoughts are with you.
Corinne, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Corinne, Hal and Alex,
Although my knowing Evan was not very long (he worked with me at Bingo Palace). I came to know him as a really nice caring young man . He was a friendly young man that had a great outlook on life. He really enjoyed his hockey and was always telling me about his games and his life. With Evan gone this world is without one great big young man with a huge heart. As each day passes you will get stronger and go on but you will always have your memories and his love in your hearts. Again my deepest condolences.
Corinne and Hal,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your son, Evan. Tim coached one of Evan’s first hockey teams at Westwood and we were shocked when we heard the sad news of his death. May your faith, family and friends lead you through this challenging time in your lives.
I was deeply saddened to see Evan’s obituary in the paper this morning. My heart goes out to you guys! May God take good care of him now.
Tad

Corrine, Hal and Alex,
We are so sorry to hear of Evan’s passing. It is so hard to have a child dealing with a life threatening condition. We admire so much your ability to accept the condition and to allow Evan the strength and support he needed to deal with it and to thrive – to live life to the fullest.
Wishing you all the best going forward,
Bryan, Sandra, Dana and Stefan.
