Obituary of WEBER – Robert James

January 1, 1945 – June 3, 2011 Bob Weber beloved husband of Carol passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the age of 66 years. Bob was born in Blairmore, AB. and moved to Calgary as a young boy. He started his career with the Calgary Fire Department in 1965 and retired as District Chief after thirty five years of service. Bob and Carol were married for Forty Eight years and loved to travel and spend winters in Phoenix, Arizona. Besides his loving wife Carol, Bob is survived by his beloved son Doug and daughter-in law Diana. He was a devoted and loving Grandfather to Jay Douglas and Sarah Rachael. He is also survived by Brother Danny (Betty) Dole, Sisters Anne (Martin) Machacek, Adair (Garry) Patterson and Joan (William) Kubik. Bob was predeceased by his mother Sophie Weber, father Frank Weber, mother-in-law Eunice Van Housen, father-in-law Leonard (Pat) Van Housen, brother-in-law Paul Lemire, siblings Robert and Florence Patterson. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Private Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
