Blessings and love – The Slusarchuk family
I remember Jim from many years ago at Craigton School. He, Shirley and Mom and Dad were neighbors of ours, and very good friends. My sympathy goes out to family and friends. Sincerely, Oriole O’Dwyer (Macdonald)
Nancy Kastner, Megan and Bob Pesant extend our sympathies to Sandra and Family on the passing of Jim. When Jim would visit our family in Brampton, Ontario he was always a great help to my father Bill. Jim was a great friend and always had interesting stories to share. We have known Jim for many years including many adventures with his parents and visits to the farm. There are many good times we shared with Jim, and those will be our memories.
As one of Jim’s colleagues in the Calgary aviation community for quite a number of years, I would extend condolences to family and friends. Jim was indeed a professional aviator, and a true gentleman. His contribution to the world around him will long be remembered.
Dear Sandra,
I am very sorry to hear about Jim’s passing away. He was a good friend and we had a lot of fun flying around the country. I don’t think I ever heard him say a discouraging word. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss.
– Dick Bonnycastle
So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. Shared friendship with Jim growing up in the Drumheller Valley and later enjoyed being “piloted” in Lear Jets and fixed-wing aircraft around the oilpatch. Our sincere condolences.

Dear Sandra,
We are very sorry for your loss,
We heard the news only a short time ago. For the short time we knew Jim he
instantly became a friend. He was a great neighbor, always going out of his way to say HI and help in anyway he could. I only wished that I had gotten to fly with him. We will miss him and am glad to have been his friend and neighbors. Sandra if you need anything we are here for you, just give us a call or take a step over. I am again so sorry for your loss, he was a great gentleman.
Take Care,
Gordon and Annemarie

Dear Sandra and Family – our prayers are with all of you during this painful time. Jim was an amazing man and we had so many good laughs as he told us about his many adventures and taught the ‘rookie’ how to fly his R/C helicopter. We pray that you will be consoled knowing he is at rest in the arms of Our Lord.
Dear Sandra and Family. Please accept our condolences in your loss of Jim. Your memories will give you comfort during this difficult time. We also have fond memories of Jim that go back for many years. Jim was the ultimate gentleman. Sincerely Barry and Jean McDonald.
