Obituary of FRASER – Florence May

March 10, 1919 – May 31, 2011 Florence May Fraser of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Florence was born on March 10, 1919 in Winterburn Alberta to her loving parents Mary and George Gordon immigrants from Aberdeenshire Scotland. She lived in Edmonton all her life and moved to Calgary in 2003 to be closer to her family. Florence was an avid, nurturing gardener. Her passion for the Edmonton Oilers was and her ability to keep accurate and detailed statistics on all their games was unrivalled. Flo was very caring, compassionate and happy to help with anything needed. Florence is survived by her sons; George (Karen), Gordon (Mariana) and Douglas, by her grandchildren; Gregory (Ann), Amber (Ryan), Saundra, Tyler, Neal, Trevor, Jason (Tanya) and Jill (Brian) as well as her great-grandchildren Colton, Ava, Karley, Luke, Ashleigh, Zackery, Malcolm, Nolan and Braden. She was predeceased by her parents; husband John, brother John Ralph, sisters Mary “Doll” Hacking and Williamina “Minnie” Orton.
