Obituary of GIESBRECHT – Jacob

December 17, 1923 – May 29, 2011 Jacob “Jack” Giesbrecht of Calgary passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Jack is lovingly remembered by his children Wayne (Darlene), Elaine (Mike Kuffner), Marilyn (George Seibel), Margot (Ed Gerard), Patricia (Brian Newman), Gerald (Cheryl), and Raelene (Ron Miller); many grand and great grandchildren; sister Nettie Rothwell; and sister-in-law Beatrice Giesbrecht. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Dorothy in 1995; sisters Mary and Susan, and brother Henry. A Memorial Service will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan later this summer.
