Obituary of WOODMAN – Tristan Lucas

December 5, 2009 – May 25, 2011 Cody and Kimberly Woodman are grieved to announce their beloved son, Tristan Lucas Woodman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the age of 18 months. He was diagnosed with AT/RT in April, 2010 and fought the cancer through very intensive treatments at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. His outgoing nature and cuddly personality made him a favourite of all the staff. Our family enjoyed several happy months when Tristan learned to crawl, stand, and play with his older sister Layla. He loved to climb the stairs, go for rides in his wagon, swing in the park and listen to music. Recently he discovered the joy of eating again and going down the slide – head first. He was much loved by his grandfather, Jim Davis and his other family members. In his short life he traveled a great deal and touched the lives of many people around the world. He was cared for at the end of his life by the compassionate staff at Children’s National Hospital in Washington D.C. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Parkland Chapel (14540 Parkland Blvd. S.E.) on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. A receiving line will be held from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
