Obituary of WASUT – Shirley Ann

April 7, 1953 – May 25, 2011 Shirley Wasut of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the age of 58 years. Shirley was born in Taber, AB and has lived in Calgary most of her life. She had been employed at Calgary Co-op for over fifteen years. Shirley loved the outdoors, camping and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Shirley is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Corey and Jennifer; a daughter Lindsay; five grandchildren, Austin, Nathan, Juliet, Jonah, and Eva; two sisters, Leona (Joe) Alberding and Carol (Tom) Pun, as well as numerous other loved ones. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 235 – 8th Street N.E., on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 235 – 8th Street N.E., on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
