Obituary of ROMANO – Maria Grazia

August 11, 1933 -May 24, 2011 On May 24, 2011 our dearest Nonna, Mother, Wife and Sister peacefully returned home to be with our Lord. Nonna Maria Grazia Romano was adored so much by her beloved grandchildren Xavier, Michela, Luca, Giulia, and Gabriele. As a loving wife to Carlo and compassionate mother to Lucia (Francois) Cousin and Alberto (Maria-Teresa) Romano she provided much love, hope and, guidance. She was also a devoted sister-in-law and caregiver to Zio Alberto for many years. Through her love of cooking we were blessed with many family gatherings with her brothers and sister (Generoso (Maria), Francesco (Maria), Carmine (Viola), Vincenzo (Giusepina), Giuseppe (Anna-Maria) Lombardo, and Emilia (Alphonso Vona) and nephews and nieces. These treasured memories will forever be with us. You will always be in our hearts. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Community Church (800 – 85 Street S.W.) between 11:00 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. with Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Entombment Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
