The world has lost a kind and gentle man. May his light and love shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He and Kathy his devoted daughter will be missed at coffee time.

My first introduction to Gordie was in Lot 3 one February day in 1991. I was assigned to work with Gordie for my first shift at the Stampede, as so many of us were. That was the start of many great shifts working with Gordie and a life long friendship. Anyone who met Gordie talks about what a great guy he was and any of us who worked with him benefited from his spirit and ability to make the job fun. The Stampede would not have been the same without Gordie. I will always think of him fondly when I remember my days at the Stampede.
