Obituary of BAPTIE – Scot Arthur

August 12, 1955 – May 15, 2011 With members of his family at his side, Scot passed away peacefully in Tampa Florida on May 15, 2011. Scot was born in Calgary but his free spirit took him on many journeys, encountering adventures and gathering friends along the way. His travels took him from Calgary to Bragg Creek, Springbank and after entering the Seismic (Doodlebug) Industry the door opened to the rest of the world. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Rose, her daughter Rachel and granddaughter Isabella and Mary Rose’s extended world wide family; his parents Art and Louise Baptie of Bragg Creek, sister Suzanne (Gordon); son and daughter Elizabeth and Adam; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. To celebrate Scots life and unique character friends and family are invited to share stories and antidotes at an open house at the Bragg Creek Community Center on Saturday June 4, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. Cremation and services have taken place in Florida.
