May 15, 1937 – May 9, 2011 In loving memory of Ronald George McPhee as he passed away after a brief struggle with cancer at age 73. Ron was born in Red Deer, AB, the youngest son of Jim and Minnie McPhee. His time was spent surrounded by family and friends, including his wife of fifty-two years, Geri McPhee; his older brother Ernest McPhee of Red Deer; his son Rick McPhee; his daughters, Joanne McPhee (Andrew Gibson), Teri-Lyn McPhee-Deatrich (Troy Deatrich) and Kelly Sawatzky; and three grandchildren, Cassie Deatrich, Mitchel Deatrich and Victoria Gibson-McPhee. He had many other family and friends who loved him dearly and will cherish his memory. Among his colleagues he was well-reputed to be a friendly and hardworking man, and he always put his family first. We would like to extend many thanks to the nurses of Alberta Health Services Homecare and the staff of Agape Hospice for all of their kindness and loving care.
