Obituary of MATTHEWS – Rocky Wade

May 8, 1957 – May 5, 2011 Rocky Wade Matthews beloved husband, father, brother, son and friend, passed away after a short courageous battle with cancer on Thursday May 5, 2011 at the age of 53 years. Rocky approached this disease with his ever present sense of humour and lots of fight in his belly. Sadly, it took its toll but right to the end he was thinking about the loved ones he was leaving behind. Rocky leaves to mourn his loving wife Roxanne; daughter Sarah (Mathew); sons Mitchell (Tamara), Logan, and grandson Liam. He is also survived by his mother Ruth Matthews; brothers Barry (Jean Anne), Lynn (Wendy), Mark; sisters Jessie, Rita (Gary), Jane (Jon); brother and sisters-in-law Jeff (Susan), Todd (Marilyn), Tracy (Wade), Rhoda (Tim); as well as many loving nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. Rocky was predeceased by his father Roscoe, and sister Wendy.
