Obituary of NOGAS – Zenon

November 22, 1927 – May 4, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Zenon Nogas on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He was born on November 22, 1927 in Nowej Wsi, Poland. In 1958 he brought his family from Germany to Canada for a better life. He is survived by his loving wife Helen; sister Sophie Gajecki and her daughter Regina (Barry) Singleton; his children, Irena, Richard and Louis; son-in-law Fred Ketter; daughter-in-law Beate Nogas; and his great grandson-in-law Stephane Eloit. He is fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Wendy, Jaron, Adam, Tyler, and Katrina; and his great grandchildren, Matthieu and Sara. He was predeceased by his mother Katerina Nogas, brother John and his brother-in-law Stanley Gajecki; and niece Brenda Hood. Zenon was an avid outdoorsman, known for his love of fishing and his carpentry skills. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Catholic Church (2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W.) on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through .
