Obituary of JENSEN – Isobel Smith

April 26, 1935 – May 4, 2011 Isobel Smith Jensen of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Born, raised and educated in Scotland, she immigrated to Canada in 1956. As an RN she worked in Hamilton, Ontario and then on to Calgary. She worked at the General, Rockyview and Peter Lougheed Hospitals. Her passion was her grandchildren. Isobel’s sense of humour, wit, and love of life will be sadly missed. Isobel is remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Ian and Denise Jensen of Prince Albert, SK; daughter and son-in-law Anita and Kevin Turner of Calgary; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Aaron, Lucas, Harrison, and Mitchell. She is also survived by her brother John Barclay in Hamilton, Scotland and numerous family members in British Columbia, Scotland, and Denmark. She was predeceased by the love of her life Jens Jensen.
