Obituary of DONHUYSEN – Jacoba Jackie
1917 – 2011
Jacoba (Jackie) Johanna Donhuysen (neé van den Broek) passed away with her family at her side on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the age of 93 years.
Jackie was born on December 23, 1917 in Boxtel, North Brabant, Netherlands. In 1954 Jackie left Boxtel with her husband Adrian and their five children for a better life in Canada. Family was always first in mom’s life. Every occasion was filled with love, laughter, joy and her beautiful smile that everyone loved and adored. Oma will always be remembered for the love of her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to travel with numerous trips to the Netherlands, Spain and the Canary Islands. She also loved spending time at the local casinos.
Jackie is survived by her four loving sons and their spouses, Stan and Maureen Donhuysen, Ted and Rosa Donhuysen, Jack and Penny Donhuysen, Ad and Ingrid Donhuysen, and son-in-law Gary Brinkmann. Oma is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Christin, Adriana, Brent, Jacquelynn (Ted), Devon (Tara), Nicole (Garry), Clayton (Aneta); and six great grandchildren. Jackie was predeceased by the love of her life, Adrian Donhuysen, her loving daughter Connie Brinkmann, eight sisters and five brothers.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
