Obituary of MULLIN – Adam James
October 9, 1973 – April 30, 2011
Adam Mullin of Calgary passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the age of 37 years.
Adam was born in Calgary. He moved to Whistler, BC when he was 18 and after spending one season there he moved to Vancouver where he worked in a men’s wear store and then at Exotic Car Rentals for a few years until he had an accident where he sustained a brain injury. The next eleven years were spent in recovery and rehabilitation in Ponoka and Calgary. Adam was also living with a brain tumor which ultimately took his life. Adam touched many lives with his humour, personality and spontaneity. He taught us about life, laughter and patience and we were blessed to have had him with us the past eleven years. Adam will be missed by all who knew him and came to love him.
Adam is survived by his parents Ute and Terry Mullin; a brother and sister-in-law Craig Mullin and Anna Topf and their daughter Ember. He is also survived by aunts, Nancy, Carol, Kim and Joan; Uncle Ian and cousins, Darcy, Meiyan, Tanis, Philip, Doran, Aaron, and Thorin. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Uncle Arnie, Uncle Al and Uncle Bruce.
