Condolences
Memories of our friend Noreen
Over the forty-seven years we have known Noreen, a number of memories come to mind and today we are thinking of each of you, her family, in a special way, so we thought we would share a few times that are easy to recall. When Vic and I were engaged, she made it a special event at her home; when our son was baptized, Larry and her were there as proxy godparents. When Vic and I took the opportunity to get away for a break, she took on the management of our small children at her home with four of her own around. Our son Paul remembers the times at her home when the aquarium was a big item in their home and he received fish to start his own ‘school’.
Throughout the years, we enjoyed a friendship with Noreen and Larry that brought us to know their friends who in time became long-time acquaintances of ours. For us, Noreen was the steady heart who showed consideration for all, but never judged others. Family was always first and friends were never shut out. She was truly a women of composure and all of us are so much better for having had a chance to share life’s path with her.
May God shine His light on all of you, her kin.
Love,
Vic and Connie and family
My sincere sympathy on the loss of your mother. If you, Don and Chris, are any indication of the wonderful mother who raised you, she must have been a remarkable woman. Please pass on my condolences to the rest of the family. I will hold you in my heart today, tomorrow and always.
Dear Cathy, Laurel, Don & Chris and all the family
It is with a heavy heart and many tears that I offer you my condolences at the loss of your Dear Mother, Grandmother, and Sister.
I so loved your Mother’s sense of humour, hospitality and grace. She will not be forgotten.
Sincerely, Sid.
Thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Mrs. Enright touched my life as my Grade 6 Math teacher at St Philip school. I have always thought of her as a mentor as I am now a Junior High Math teacher with Calgary Catholic. The picture you chose to publish is exactly how I remember her – smiling and warm, her students could always feel the love she had for them. I will have my class remember her in our daily prayers. She was a wonderful person and I was blessed to have had her in my life. Sincere condolences to everyone.
Through my marriage to Noreen’s daughter Laurel, it was my great fortunate to meet Noreen and her wonderful family. She was always kind and considerate and became a best friend. My favourite memories are taking walks with her in the outdoors and being given tours of her magnificent garden. Mother Nature personified. Michael King
