Obituary of JONES – Paul David

September 12, 1917 – April 19, 2011 Paul David Jones, beloved husband of Vivian Jones, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the age of 93 years old. Born and raised in Calgary, Paul was a member of the Reserve Calgary Highlanders and worked for a trust company. He enjoyed volunteering and spending time with friends and family. Paul and his wife of sixty-seven years were avid hikers, campers and golfers. The couple was a member of Second Sixties, a hiking and camping group, for many years and they loved fresh air and exercise. Paul is survived by his wife Vivian Jones; sister Florence Hutchison; son-in-law Gary Snow; daughter-in-law Mary-Dawn Jones; and grandchildren, Stacie Snow and Mandie Snow. Paul was predeceased by his parents Christmas Jones and Florence Jones; his brothers, James Jones and Ralph Jones; and his children, Christine Snow and Bruce Jones. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Please forward condolences through .
