Obituary of FERGUSON – Beverley Joan

May 1, 1934 – April 17, 2011 Beverley “Joan” Ferguson (nee Nicholson) of Calgary passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Joan was born and raised in Calgary. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Christmas was always a special time for Joan. In the summer, she enjoyed camping with her family and friends. Curling was a favourite activity in winter and she was actively involved in the Calgary Curling Club. Joan will be dearly missed by her children, April Colleen (Ivan) Wannamaker, John (Diane) Ferguson, Judy (Jeff) Cairns, and Robert (Barb) Ferguson; grandchildren, Mary-Anne (Rick) Hunter, Aaron (Sarah) Wannamaker, Jason (Chelsea) Wannamaker, Tanis (Ryan) Ferguson, Taylor Ferguson, Matt Cairns, Shannon Cairns, Mitch Ferguson, and Connor Ferguson; and great grandchildren, Abigail and Hannah Wannamaker; and sister Billie (David) Askey. Joan was predeceased by her husband Bill Ferguson; and parents Bill and Cath Nicholson.
