Obituary of SHORSON – Elizabeth Mary

December 18, 1957 – April 12, 2011 Elizabeth Mary Shorson of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the age of 53 years. Elizabeth was born on December 18, 1957 in Duncan, BC. She moved to Calgary, AB in 1977 and married Lenard Shorson in 1979. She stayed at home for many years to raise her three daughters and enjoyed reading, gardening, crafts, and was very fond of cats. She became ill with a rare form of dementia called Pick’s Disease in her early forties. Elizabeth gave her life to our Lord Jesus Christ in 2007, and was peacefully called home on April 12, 2011. Elizabeth is survived by her three daughters, Tiffany, Channah, Jerrica, her former husband Lenard and her sister Dorothy McBurnie (Dot).
