Obituary of SANSREGRET – Leonard Emile

September 14, 1943 – April 10, 2011 Leonard Sansregret beloved husband of Evelyn of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the age of 67 years. Leonard was born in Calgary, AB. He was a voracious reader and his daunting intelligence coupled with meticulousness served him well in his career as a chartered accountant; as well as informing his roles as husband, father and friend. He took great pleasure, especially in his later years, in his children and foremost his grandchildren. He made every effort to welcome one more grandbaby. They will all miss his indulgence, love and Smarties. He travelled with his wife, often to see children and grandchildren across the country and globe. He sought “neat stuff” and “different tastes”. His cooking and baking were an integral part of all family celebrations. While he was often in the background, he will nonetheless leave a very large hole in our lives. He leaves behind his wife Evelyn (nee Brilz), children Richard, Denise, Nicole and Jacquie, and grandchildren Matisse, Jonah, Jacob, Nicolas, and Anna. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W.) on Thursday, April 14 at 10:30 a.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
