Obituary of CHARLESWORTH – Laurie Lee

September 14, 1960 – April 1, 2011 Laurie Charlesworth of Calgary, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the age of 50 years, after a long battle with cancer with her brother, Barry by her side. Laurie wrote poetry, played guitar, was a good cook and a gracious hostess. She loved antiques, pets, music and travelling. Laurie will be remembered as a kind and giving person. She moved to Red Deer and was employed by a plumbing company. Then worked in both Red Deer and Calgary as a parts person for R.V. suppliers. When she was not able to work any longer Laurie decided to live in Calgary, AB. Laurie is survived by her mother Valerie, father Willard, brothers Barry of Black Diamond, AB, and Randy, niece Shelby, nephew Travis, as well as her aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to Southwood Hospice, to our families and friends who were so kind, generous and thoughtful over the years.
