Obituary of SCHROTTNER – Karl

February 14, 1929 – April 1, 2011 Karl Schrottner passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the age of 82 years. Karl is survived by his wife and best friend Lorna, brother John of Kelowna, B.C. and many nephews and nieces in Austria. Karl was predeceased by his parents Anton and Paula, brother Anton and sisters Rosa and Johannah. Karl immigrated to Canada in 1954 from Austria. He was a long time member of the Austrian Canadian Society, St. Boniface Church and the Western White Hatters Camping Club, and always enjoyed life to the fullest. Karl and Lorna spent fourteen years in their winter home in Yuma, Arizona, and travelled extensively world wide, visiting over 50 countries and 6 continents. Karl was very interested in history and spoke many languages, he enjoyed classical music and clean world sports. It was Karl’s request that no funeral services be held.
