Obituary of WEISNER – Davis Bradley

July 27, 1995 – March 26, 2011 Davis passed away with his family at his side after a courageous 5 year battle with neuroblastoma on Saturday March 26, 2011 at the age of 15 years. Davis was a huge inspiration to countless people and the Calgary Flames number 1 fan. Davis could often be heard saying, ‘Cancer Sucks’, but he fought his cancer to the end with grace and determination. Throughout his battle he devoted his time and energy to help others and the organizations he was involved with. The caring community that has supported us lifts our hearts. Davis was constantly humbled and awe-struck by the gifts and opportunities given to him by the organizations and selfless individuals. Davis is survived by his mother Janine, father Brad, sister Jessie, his dog Henry, his bearded dragon Hank and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Davis was a grade 10 student at Lester B. Pearson High School. Davis’ Celebration of Life will be held at Pineridge Community Centre (6024 Rundlehorn Drive NE) on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome.
